Santander Airport Guide

Santander Airport is situated five kilometres outside the city in the town of Maliano, within the municipal district of Camargo, in the west of the bay. The airport caters to civil domestic and international tourist traffic, as well as to technical stopovers by commercial airlines.

A single, two-level terminal building caters for all domestic and international flights. The levels are designated P0 and P1, with both arrivals and departures located on P0. There are two ATM machines, a currency exchange booth and a bank located on level P0 of the terminal building. There is also a post office on level P0.

The airport has a café on level P0, with a three restaurants located on level P1. Both duty-free and regular shopping is available, with products on offer including newspapers and magazines, typical local products and gifts. A travel agent has an outlet in the airport to aid with any further travel plans. There is a chapel located on level P1.

Those who require special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airlines when booking their flight. Specially fitted toilets and ramps are located across the airport. Designated parking areas are available in the car park opposite the terminal. An airport information desk and a tourist information booth are located on level P0 of the terminal building.
