Museo de la Historia de Tenerife - Located in La Laguna on one of the old main streets, this magnificent museum was once the home of the well to do Lucero family.

Parque Nacional Las Canadas del Teide - This park that surrounds Mount Teide, an active volcano, is the site of weird and wonderful rock formations, and spectacular landscapes and scenery. Mount Teide has the highest peak in Spain.

Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos - That anyone had the foresight and imagination to turn this rocky and arid area in the commercial haven for package tourists is in itself a wonder.

La Gomera - Lying 28 km off the coast of Tenerife, this tiny island has a timeless, almost forgotten feel to it. Not that it minds, though.
